personality traits ,Life has never been handed to Kona on a silver spoon, but no one would know looking at her now. Kona lives in the fast lane of life. Diamonds fitted perfectly around her neck, Kona is the perfect spokes model for the Anderson name. She is photographed with some of the hottest names, but she's never smiling in the photographs. Many mistake her for a spoiled bitch, but Kona feels alien to this world. She's shy and all the publicity makes her weak at the knees. Simple gestures mean the most to Kona. People mistake her as a worldly socialite, but Kona comes from a humble history.
Left for dead on some of the hardest East Cost streets, Kona matured quickly. Kona is not the complainer. She questions all authority, because the only authority she's known has fucked her. She has an icy exterior, but it helps her survive. The rumors of her gang ties may be true. She has a reputation as a badass. She spends her times with some of Miami's sketchiest names. She scoffs at high school parties, not because she feels she is above them, but to her they are petty. Kona seems to have a background in illegal matter. She's a runner. Kona refuses to face her music. She'll throw down before she ever goes down. She has a devilish smile that manipulates most situations into her favor.
Longs legs and a toned core, Kona is sexy, but she's exotic. Her near white eyes and ebony dark hair are unusual among the bleach blonde Miami Barbie dolls. She can work her body. The boys hope one day after school she'll be preached on their hood. She has a thing for cars and bad boys, but this lands her in trouble. Her naivety, cute as may be, often lands her in reckless situations. Kona can seduce almost as easily as she can be captivated. Upsetting as it is to her friends, Kona's friends are not model citizens. Drug dealers, jail room jocks, and boys who want nothing from her often get her hurt. Kona can go hard, but she's only human. Her bones break and she can't win every fight.
Mortal she may be, she is not the girl you want to see at your locker. Kona can be a bitch. She knows how to make life hell. She knows your weak points, and there is nothing you can do to scare her off. Piss Kona off, and your world as you know it is over. Kona may be small, but she is strong. Growing up on the streets and her surfing career have leant her a fair deal of muscle. She hits like a freight train and she'll go until she's gone. Her determination is remarkable. The flip side to this being Kona is the mother bear. She is protective of her friends and she'll do most anything for them.
She isn't all ice queen all the time. Sassy and sarcastic as she may be, Kona is a sweetheart. She's timid and unlike her friends, she doesn't judge. Kona doesn't place herself above others, and she could care less what others think of her friendships. She loves to laugh and make others smile. She may be a train wreck, but she is loving. Out of her friends, people find Kona the most relatable. She is the least judged because she does not judge. She treats everyone the same, and only wants the same in return. Respect means the world to Kona. She's bubbly with the dreamiest smile. Her laughter can warm any heart, but her glare could freeze over hell.
Heartbroken and lonely, Kona is a hopeless romantic. At heart, she's a little girl. She needs someone who can take her head on. She is able to face her problems, but she's afraid of the pain and so she runs. She's inherited bipolar disorder, which makes it difficult to love her. Her mood can change in an instant. Kona is an enigma, and it's her time now to decide what sort of woman she will become.

in depth history ,She could have had any man she wanted. Skyler had out of this world looks and she was as charming as they come. She was sixteen when she met a mysterious, nearly emotionless, rich boy. Landon was captivated by Skyler. He loved her, worshiped her, and showered her with affection. It was all a whirlwind romance for him, but for Skyler, it was not. There was a feeling she couldn’t shake that rested deep in her stomach. Something was wrong, but Landon had Skyler blinded by the glamour of his world. With time, Skyler dismissed the eerie feeling and at seventeen she married.
They say a mother becomes a mother when she learns she’s pregnant, but a father becomes a father when he first holds their child. Landon had been a prefect husband. He gave her the wedding of her dreams, went out at all hours of the night to find her strange cravings, and now he was flushed with pride for their baby. She could see in his eyes he would be a wonderful father. He was. He was a wonderful father for his son, Joshua. The three were a prefect family, but eight years later, the feelings Skyler pushed aside would return.
Landon refused to hold Kona. Skyler felt something tearing in her chest, Landon refused to let their son touch his baby sister. Reluctantly, she attributed it to how much trouble Kona had been to give birth to. She would not believe Landon did not love their daughter, but that was the truth. Landon hated Kona. She was always smiling and so loving of him, but that only fueled his disgust. For several years, Landon ignored his daughter’s existence, but one day he could no longer ignore her. He was in his den when he heard the grunts of a little girl. He tried to brush it aside, but she was so noisy. He went into the kitchen and found Kona hauling a large bucket out toward the pool. She was talking to the bucket, lovely; he had a deranged little girl living in his home. He sighed and followed her out to the pool to retrieve the large red pale when he was stopped dead in his tracks. Kona was using the bucket to climb the fence. He would have let her go, but Skyler loved the girl. He took Kona by the roots of her hair and threw against the concrete. Landon pulled Kona up by the collar of her shirt and punched her several times until Joshua ran out and begged his father to stop. When asked why Kona was trying to climb the fence, she told her father and brother she wanted to get a flower for daddy. Landon spat on his injured daughter and returned to his den.
Skyler returned home that evening to find Kona holding her head and hiding under the pool table. She was sure Kona had simply hit her head, but when she walked around the other side to see Kona’s face, she broke into tears. Kona’s face was a bloody mess, literally. Not only was her face severely bruised and cut, she had scraps on her elbow, and cuts on the back of her scalp. Skyler and Landon spent the night arguing on the beach. Kona, knowing she was at fault, ran down to ask them to stop. It all went very fast. Smacking, shouting, crying, screaming, hitting, falling, bleeding, pleading, then it all fell silent. Kona watched her mother’s face. The rest of the world became black, except her mother’s face. There were no sounds. Things turned red. There was lots of red, and then there was grey. Water, the water was grey, but it turned red. Something shiny. It was falling. Something behind her. A leg? Kona turned her face into the leg and sobbed hard. She clenched the fabric into fists as all the sounds came rushing back into her world. Waves were crashing and she was making unearthly noises. She need the leg for support, and when she thought it would stay, it kicked her aside and walked away.
Landon never acknowledged Kona again unless he was beating her. Her world had become loveless. School was hell just as much as home was. She needed someone, one person, and she considered herself blessed to have him, sweet Joshua. He held her, he kissed her, and he touched her kindly. For years, she let Joshua do whatever he pleased to make him happy. To Joshua’s dismay though, Kona made a friend. A friend who knew what “rape” and “sexual abuse” meant, a friend whom he would kill.
After her best friend’s death, Kona ran away. She got into a lot of trouble once. She got caught in a street fight and she ran. She was fast and she was sure she could lose them, but she wasn’t the brightest kid. Cops had cars. They let her off easy with a warning and she was placed in child services. Her father continued to deny having a daughter, so she was placed into foster care. It was here Kona would meet Millie Anderson and be relocated to Miami.
