Tamson also began in a fantastical wolf form, Shadow Fading. Very little was known of Tamson. He was an older wolf who with a habit of disappearing for periods of time. He also was the alpha male of a wolf pack killed by Kona's father. In an act of vengeance, Tamson took Kona in. Though, it was never revealed if his motives were selfish or selfless. Unlike Kona, Tamson's powers did not fit into one domain.
Tamson's primary power was the doman of electricity. Yes, this came with the obvious power to produce lighting, but Tamson worked on a smaller scale. Much like his humanoid self, Tamson has a fascination with the brain. Though, as a wolf it was a sadistic fascination. Due to the electricity present in the brain, Tamson could override brain functions. This was is primary mode of attack. He would invade the brain and begin rewiring your system.
This also gave Tamson his most unusual power: a somatoform disorder. Using the electrical circuits in his brain, Tamson could create the symptoms of diseases or wounds without actual damage. As the reverse to this, Tamson was able to heal certain wounds. Lastly, Tamson could control shadows. At night, Tamson was nearly impossible to see. He seemed to disappear into the shadows. He claimed he could also understand them.
Tamson appeared briefly in Anime Ren as the anonymous figure that prevented Kona's suicide attempt and was able to free her from her assassination duties. Sound familiar? Tamson was the one who broke Kona of her ties to East Coast gangs.
However, Tamson's first humanoid form came about in Those Starless Nights and I Heart D.C. In many ways, Tamson has remained the same. Very little is known about him, hopefully we can unearth some of the mysteries on this forum?
