Honestly, Oliver did not remember the night before. He remembered only bits and pieces. He had stumbled home, and after that it was all pretty much a blur. But apparently Kona had taken advantage of his state and gotten him to agree to take her dancing. Which was weird because Oliver wasn’t even good at dancing. Actually, he was pretty bad at it. But if it was what Kona wanted, it was what they were going to do. He had also supposedly agreed to get her a flower. Oliver had no idea how he was going to find a flower to get her, even if he just picked it.
He walked around for a short time looking around in the dark for a pretty flower for Kona and finally came across a pretty orange and pink tropical looking thing. He tried to pick it carefully, but pulled a little too hard and took a little bit of the ground with it. He bend it until the bottom broke off and it seemed presentable. He wondered where exactly they were going and what had happened the night before, but he wasn’t going to worry himself with it. His relationship with Kona was complicated enough as it was.
He went back to his house, got his car, and drove to Kona’s house with the flower on the passenger’s seat. He parked on the street and took the flower in his fingers before walking up to her door and ringing the doorbell. He tapped his foot a bit and peeked in the window as he waited for Kona to come out and reveal what the night would hold.

"I'm not nervous," she repeated to herself every five minutes or so. Her glittering nails tapped the windowsill that looked out across the ocean. Kona lifted her shoulders angirly as one of her slender eyebrows began to lift. No way was she going to be nervous to have Oliver come over. Her teeth began to nibble at her lip and she walked away from the window. All of the lights in her house were off and she had lit candles so she could see. Suddenly, she regretted that decision. It seemed romantic now, and this was not a date.
She walked to her front door peaked out and then walked back into her kitchen. Kona opened the fridge and plucked out a large chocolate covered strawberry. Finally, she had begun to relax. Her eyes narrowed and a mischievous smirk spread across her face as she tore the box out of the fridge and placed it on the counter. She giggled and began to devour each strawberry with such passion she almost felt guilty. She felt like she was cheating on her former strawberry, but they were each so good. In the midst of her pigging out, the door bell rang.
Kona's head popped up like a nervous deer. Her eyes were wide and her cheeks flushed embrassed. She was such a pig. She quickly stashed the box in the fridge and began to panic. She squealed as she raced around trying to clean herself up. She checked her teeth in a shiny pot and began to whimper knowing she was taking too much time to answer the door. She attempted to tear a paper towel from the roll while trying to run toward the door, but the towel never tore. Kona slid to a halt and screamed trying to tear the damn towel. She pulled, but it just kept coming. Her heart began to race and she stared at the door. He was looking in. "Man!"
Kona began to run back intot he kitchen gathering up the towel as she went. She tore the towel so hard she knocked several things overs, but she she dried she hands and let out a long breath. She walked back toward her door trying to compose herself. As her hand reached for the handle, she noticed she was shaking and rolled her eyes. She swung the door open and smiled sweetly. Despite the loud commotion and large amount of paper towels throughout her house, she seemed relaxed. "We're headed out back. I have a surprise for you." She giggle as she stepped to the side to let them in. She was proud of herself fornot having blushed, but the moment she saw a flash of orange her cheeks grew pink and she smiled. "You really got me a flower?" Her voice was barely audiable. She had meant that as a joke. She never actually thought she would get one.

Maybe Oliver should just try calling Kona before he got there instead of always waiting ten minutes at her door for her to answer. Oliver rolled the flower in his fingers a few times as he waited. It was dark inside, so he couldn’t tell where Kona was. He heard something going on inside and wondered if she had fallen over and he was going to need to break in and save the poor girl. Finally, eventually, Kona opened the door. She seemed surprised by the flower in his hand.
“Of course,”
Oliver replied simply. “I promised that I would. Plus, that makes this a date.” He grinned at her as he handed her the flower and stepped inside. It wasn’t as dark as he thought that it was. There were candles everywhere. Overall, it had a pretty romantic feel to it, and Oliver had to wonder what exactly Kona was going for and what she wanted from him. Not to mention what he was getting himself into going into her back yard with her. Part of him wished that he had checked out the back of the house in the five minute wait for Kona to get to the door so he had a better idea of what he was walking into, but he had thought they were going out. He probably should have known better. Oliver wasn’t really the guy that Kona invited out. He wondered if she was ashamed of him and that was why they didn’t go out together unless he was buying her something. Oliver wasn’t the type to stress over something like this, though. He looked around and urged Kona to lead the way. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

A slim eyebrow curved as her ice like eyes narrowed. He was difficult to read, but she had a decent grasp on the situation. She sighed taking the floor and walking past him with enough force to her hair off of her shoulders. "Change of plans," she breathed out angirly as she fumbled to get the hair into her hair. She opened her back door and hit a switch. "We're going out." She walked around the room blowing out the candles. She walked to Oliver with that classic "your-ass-is-mine" smirk. "Keys?" She held her hand out palm up, and her leg shifted so it was out to the side. Kona wasn't kidding. He seemed disappointed to be staying, and that was fine. However, to make up for it, she wanted the keys.
"Also," she began as she stepped toward him and took a hold of his shirt. She jerked him closer with a dangerous smile. "If you get to see my chest, I get to see yours." She unbuttoned the first few buttons of his shirt and dropped her hands to her hip. "Listen closely, sweetheart. I understand you've been to your fair share of parties, but this time we're going to my kind of party. And there are a few rules. First, if you want to drink you do it before showing up. They serve a slightly different sort of cocktail, love. Second, you have anything on you that has some sort of meaning to you. Leave it here. Three, this night never happened. Four, and this is important." Her eyes turned cold and she glared at him for a long pause. "You take nothing from no one without letting me see it first. This shit gets crazy, you understand? Five, you're going to need a knife." She let that sit while she pondered what else he may need to know. "Six, women. You can look, but if you like your fingers don't touch. Seven, this is our little secret." She winked and headed for the door. "Try and keep up Oliver. It's going to be a long night."

Oliver stared at the hand she had presented to him. How was there a change of plans when nothing had even happened yet? Not to mention there was no way in hell he was going to let Kona drive his car. If she wanted to drive, they could take her car. He shook his head. “No,”
he told her firmly. “I’m driving. You do not get my keys.” Oliver was pretty sure there was never a time when he would let someone else drive his car. It wasn’t much, but it was his, and it was the one thing he knew he could rely on if he really did need to get away. He wasn’t taking the chance of it getting hurt because Kona was driving, especially since he always found a way to make her angry, and she might total it just because she was pissed at him. He, unlike her, did not have the money to go fix it up or get a new car. He was stuck with what he had. He stared at Kona in disbelief as she began explaining rules to him. For some reason he didn’t find it odd that she unbuttoned his shirt part of the way, but he did feel extremely gay considering where she stopped. Oliver used to be a skinny ass kid, but when he started fighting he also started lifting, and he had toughened up quite a bit since then. He still wasn’t any kind of body builder or anything like that, but he was a pretty lean, good looking guy. He didn’t appreciate her talking to him like he was stupid. From the rules, he managed to figure out that they were probably going to some kind of underground party. Oliver wasn’t the type that usually attended those type of things, but he had been before, and he knew it was a pretty dangerous place to be if you didn’t keep track of what was going on around you or made a bad move. Otherwise they could be fun, but Oliver preferred the ease of being able to take a beer without the fear that it had been spiked with some drug that would make him feel like he was being born again. “I can take care of myself,” Oliver told her. He wasn’t sure if he could take care of Kona, though. She seemed to know the rules, but he knew perfectly well that she was no good at following them. He didn’t carry anything that really meant anything to him with him. He’d just leave his wallet in the car. A car that there was no way in hell Kona would be driving.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

With a dull expression, Kona twisted her fingers through Oliver's belt loop. In her mind, she was trying to see in which pocket he may keep his keys. Her eyes fell down toward his crotch and noticed no blug from his pockets. She took a step forward with a naughty gleam in her eyes as she pressed her head against his chest. "Oh, but Oli," she pouted as her arms slung around his hips. She gave him an innocent look as she traced her finger tips against his ass.
She let out a giggle as she slid her hand into his back pocket and hooked her finger around the key ring. She quickly ran backwards with a devious smile. "Just this once. I promise to be good." She gave him the sweetest smile hoping he let her win. She knew it was a big step. For Kona, the first sign that someone truly cared was when they let her drive their car. "I want to party, Oli. C'mon. Don't be such a baby." She stuck her tognue out taunting him.
